Job Description: Executive Housekeeper

The Executive Housekeeper is responsible for managing the housekeeping operations in a hotel, resort, or similar establishment. This role ensures cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation standards are maintained across guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces.

Core Responsibilities

  1. Operational Management
    • Supervise housekeeping staff and allocate daily tasks.
    • Ensure rooms and public areas meet cleanliness and quality standards.
    • Manage laundry operations and inventory of linen and cleaning supplies.
  2. Staff Leadership
    • Recruit, train, and develop housekeeping team members.
    • Conduct performance evaluations and provide coaching.
    • Schedule staff shifts and manage labor costs effectively.
  3. Quality & Compliance
    • Implement and monitor cleaning procedures and safety standards.
    • Ensure compliance with health, hygiene, and environmental regulations.
    • Handle guest complaints related to housekeeping promptly.
  4. Budget & Inventory Control
    • Prepare and manage housekeeping budgets.
    • Control costs for supplies, equipment, and labor.
    • Maintain accurate inventory records.
  5. Coordination
    • Work closely with Front Office and Maintenance teams for room readiness.
    • Support special events and VIP guest requirements.
