Security Manager

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and highly responsible Hotel Security Manager to oversee all security operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing security protocols, managing the security team, and ensuring the safety of guests, employees, and hotel property while upholding the hotel’s reputation.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and regularly review comprehensive security policies, procedures, and emergency plans.
• Manage, train, and supervise the security team to ensure efficient 24/7 operation.
• Collaborate closely with other hotel departments (e.g., Front Office, Housekeeping, Engineering) to ensure an overall secure environment.
• Oversee the hotel’s fire safety system and conduct regular drills to ensure compliance with local regulations.
• Handle security incidents, emergencies, and guest complaints, conduct thorough investigations, and submit reports.
• Manage and monitor the hotel’s CCTV surveillance, access control systems, and other security equipment.
• Conduct regular security risk assessments and patrols to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
• Establish and maintain good relationships with local police, fire departments, and other relevant authorities.
• Prepare and control the security budget.

Qualifications

• College diploma or above; major in Public Security, Safety Management, or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of security management experience in a star-rated hotel or large property.
• Familiarity with national security laws, fire safety regulations, and hotel industry security standards.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and emergency decision-making skills.
• Skilled in handling emergencies and conflicts with calmness and professionalism.
• Proficient in MS Office and security monitoring systems.
• Fluent Chinese and English
• Valid fire safety administrator certificate or related qualifications preferred.
• High integrity, reliable, with a clean record.
