The Revenue Manager seizes all opportunities to maximise incremental revenue through the various selling options along with the implementation of the commercial pricing strategy.
Responsibilities
- Ensures adherence to corporate guidelines on Rate Structure, Selling Calendar, Monthly Forecast, Tactical Promotions & Pricing strategies.
- Maximises room sales and revenue for property and ensure compliance with Reservations Sales/ Revenue Management guidelines.
- Develops and/ or uses analytical tools and systems to maximise revenue. Critiques effectiveness of sales strategy and prepares historical and future analysis of revenue opportunities.
- Evaluates performance of distribution partners and contracted rates and take necessary actions to meet revenue objectives.
- Provides revenue reports on daily, weekly, monthly and any intervals that may be required.
Requirements
- Experienced in anticipating problems, strong analytical skills in resolving problems
- Able to articulate recommendations to optimise revenue opportunities
- Possesses work ethics that strives for constant improvements, takes responsibility for achieving business results and perseveres despite obstacles
- Strong leadership, organisational and administrative skills
- Proven 2 to 5 years track record in a hotel of comparable standard in similar capacity
- Must have the right to work in Malaysia
