The IT Manager manages and maintains all the Hotel ICT systems in implementing the ICT goals and strategies that are aligned with the business requirement.
Responsibilities
- Sets up, installs, configures and maintains computer and servers in the hotel.
- Manages and maintains hardware, software, systems, networks, printers and scanners in the hotel.
- Investigates and resolves computer software and hardware faults.
- Plans and undertakes scheduled maintenance and upgrades.
- Ensures the property continue to operate without disruption to business and operations in the event of unforeseen breakdown.
- Developing and implementing IT policy and best practice guides for the organization.
- Managing annual budget and ensure cost effectiveness on allocation of IT budget.
Requirements
- Proven 2 years track record in a hotel of comparable standard in similar capacity
- Up-to-date knowledge of the latest IT and software trends
- Strong leadership, organisational and administrative skills
- Ability to quickly establish good working relationships with colleagues, guests, vendors
- Able to maintain consistent performances under pressure
- Willingness to work over unsociable hours
- Must have the right to work in Malaysia
