Job Summary

The Executive Chef is responsible for overseeing all kitchen operations, ensuring the highest standards of food quality, presentation, hygiene, and efficiency. This role leads the culinary team, manages food costs, develops menus, and ensures exceptional dining experiences for guests while maintaining profitability and compliance with food safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, organize, and supervise all kitchen operations and food preparation activities.
  • Create and develop menus that meet guest expectations and align with the establishment’s concept.
  • Maintain high standards of food quality, taste, presentation, and portion control.
  • Monitor and control food costs, inventory, and kitchen budgets.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and health regulations.
  • Recruit, train, supervise, and evaluate kitchen staff to maintain strong team performance.
  • Coordinate with the Food & Beverage Manager and other departments to ensure smooth service operations.
  • Oversee purchasing and supplier relationships to ensure quality ingredients.
  • Manage kitchen schedules, staffing levels, and productivity.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized kitchen environment.
  • Handle guest feedback related to food quality and dining experience.
