Job Objective

Lead the execution and continuous optimization of all digital marketing initiatives, ensuring that every online interaction reflects the sophistication, authenticity, and emotional connection expected of a premier luxury hotel brand.

The Digital Marketing Director plays a key role in bringing the philosophy of Banyan Tree, where every digital interaction becomes an invitation to experience wellbeing, beauty, and a genuine sense of belonging.

Requirements

  • Fluency in English and Spanish.
    • Solid knowledge of the role.
    • Education: Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
    • Advanced analytical skills with experience using Google Analytics and reporting tools.
    • Experience managing agencies and stakeholders from different departments.
    • Strong visual sensibility and understanding of luxury brand identity.
    • Highly organized, meticulous, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Digital strategy and brand positioning
    • Lead and oversee digital marketing initiatives, including the brand’s websites, paid media, SEO/SEM, CRM, email marketing, and social media.
    • Ensure that all digital touchpoints reflect the brand’s luxury positioning, visual identity, and narrative.
    • Collaborate with revenue, sales, public relations, operations, spa, wellness, food and beverage, and brand teams to ensure alignment and commercial impact.
    • Website optimization and guest journey
    • Continuously optimize website content, user experience, and performance to improve conversion.
    • Ensure that all guest-facing information (offers, experiences, dining, spa, seasonal promotions) is accurate and up-to-date.
    • Identify opportunities to improve the booking process and increase direct revenue contribution.
    • Performance marketing and analytics
    • Oversee and evaluate the performance of digital campaigns on Google Ads, Meta, retargeting platforms, and other channels.
    • Monitor traffic, booking trends, and conversion metrics using analytics tools and dashboards.
    • Generate actionable insights to drive continuous optimization and improve ROI.
    • Collaborate with external agencies to ensure strong campaign performance and strategic alignment.
    • Digital content and assets, CMS, and digital ecosystems.
