Role Purpose
The Waiter / Luxury Service Host is responsible for delivering exceptional food and beverage experiences with elegance, warmth, and attention to detail.

Position Objective
To provide exceptional dining experiences through attentive, personalized, and efficient service while embodying Banyan Tree Veya’s values of wellbeing, elegance, and heartfelt hospitality.
Key Responsibilities
Provide professional and personalized food and beverage service following luxury hospitality standards.
Anticipate guest needs and preferences, ensuring a seamless dining experience.
Maintain complete knowledge of menus, ingredients, wine pairings, and resort offerings.
Ensure proper setup, cleanliness, and presentation of restaurant areas at all times.
Handle guest requests, concerns, and service recovery situations with professionalism and empathy.
Coordinate effectively with kitchen and bar teams to ensure smooth service flow.
Deliver food and beverages with accuracy, timing, and attention to detail.
Promote upselling opportunities aligned with guest preferences and service standards.
Maintain compliance with hygiene, safety, and operational procedures.
Contribute to a positive, collaborative, and guest-focused team environment.
Critical Skills & Qualifications
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong attention to detail and passion for luxury service.
Ability to remain composed and professional in high-pressure environments.
Previous experience in luxury hotels, fine dining, or upscale restaurants preferred.
Knowledge of food, beverages, wines, and service etiquette.
Positive attitude, teamwork mindset, and strong service orientation.
Conversational English preferred.
Flexibility to work rotating schedules, weekends, and holidays.
Development Path
