Job Description

Under the general guidance and supervision of the General Manager and Field Sales Leader of the territories, and adhering to policies and procedures as meted out by the designated hotels and company. The incumbent herein oversees and directs all aspects of sales activities including trade events: tradeshows / roadshows with the objectives of bringing strong hotel brand presence to market speedily. Such activities including but not limited to sales and marketing planning, promotional strategies and tactics, and overall accountability for the day-to-day effectiveness of the sales force.

  • Maximize revenue to exceed budget in hotel RevPAR / Catering Rev / MICE & Occupancy expectations consistently.
  • Management of forecasting accuracy in cooperation with the Revenue Manager.
  • Ability to create or lead marketing plans, marketing efforts to attract MICE business and collaborate with other departments to enhance the resort’s brand and guest experience.
  • Overseeing advertising, promotions, and social media efforts to drive bookings and maintain a strong online presence is crucial.
  • Developing and executing Sales & Marketing strategies with updated industry trends to enhance the hotel’s offerings to maximize revenue & occupancy.
  • Identify relevant sales & marketing trainings for sales associates.
  • Leadership ability to lead team members, with setting sales targets, analysing market trends, and fostering relationships with clients and partners.
  • Coaching, counsels, disciplines and support subordinate employees career development.

Qualifications

  • 3 – 4 years experiences in existing capacity of Director of Sales & Marketing in International hotel management chains in Cambodia.
  • Diploma/ Higher Diploma/ University Education (Travel Hospitality related)
  • Excellent hotel sales, marketing, and/or revenue management experience.
  • Proven track record in leadership management in S&M department or division.
  • Possesses a track record of managing active commercial or leisure accounts in the region for resort selling that may relevant to the hotel’s key feeder markets/market segments.
  • Advance levels of analytical skills and the ability to articulate the business.
  • High level of proficiency in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent in health, mature with pleasant personality and neat appearance.
  • Good interpersonal skills required. Interacts principally with colleagues, customers and guests
  • Ability to work under pressure.
