Job Description: Executive Housekeeper
The Executive Housekeeper is responsible for managing the housekeeping operations in a hotel, resort, or similar establishment. This role ensures cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation standards are maintained across guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces.
Core Responsibilities
- Operational Management
- Supervise housekeeping staff and allocate daily tasks.
- Ensure rooms and public areas meet cleanliness and quality standards.
- Manage laundry operations and inventory of linen and cleaning supplies.
- Staff Leadership
- Recruit, train, and develop housekeeping team members.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide coaching.
- Schedule staff shifts and manage labor costs effectively.
- Quality & Compliance
- Implement and monitor cleaning procedures and safety standards.
- Ensure compliance with health, hygiene, and environmental regulations.
- Handle guest complaints related to housekeeping promptly.
- Budget & Inventory Control
- Prepare and manage housekeeping budgets.
- Control costs for supplies, equipment, and labor.
- Maintain accurate inventory records.
- Coordination
- Work closely with Front Office and Maintenance teams for room readiness.
- Support special events and VIP guest requirements.
