F&B Supervisor

The Food and Beverage Supervisor is responsible to assist in directing, controlling and coordinating all outlet activities ensuring the outlet meets its financial and guest satisfaction objectives.

Responsibilities

• Directs and controls all subordinates to ensure that all day to day operational matters are handled on time and guest expectations are met.
• Liaises with the kitchen, stewarding, bars, housekeeping and engineering to ensure that the operation runs smoothly in areas of joint responsibility.
• Anticipates and acts on guests’ needs and special requests promptly and tactfully.
• Has the ability to participate and assists servers in the outlet during a busy moment to ease the sequence of service.
• Conducts frequent front and back of house checks ensuring mise-en-place, service procedures, standards of cleanliness and hygiene, repair and maintenance, employee grooming and manning levels are in order and takes appropriate action where necessary.

Requirements

• Sound knowledge of working practices in Food and Beverage Department
• Good interpersonal skill and team-oriented person
• Willing to work on shift rotation
• Able to read and communicate in English
• Must have the right to work in Malaysia
