Role Purpose
The Rooms Division Manager is a key leader and brand ambassador, responsible for orchestrating all aspects of the Rooms Division with excellence, precision, and care.
This role ensures seamless, refined, and highly personalized guest experiences while maintaining the highest professional standards, operational integrity, and full compliance with luxury hospitality practices and brand philosophy.

The Rooms Division Manager holds full accountability for the strategic and day-to-day leadership of:
- Front Office – Resort Host
- Concierge & Guest Experience
- Housekeeping
- Laundry
- Curator
- Transportation- Bellmen
- Spa
- Security
Ensuring alignment across all touchpoints, delivering consistency, excellence, and emotional connection in every stay.
Position Objective
To lead, inspire, and elevate all Rooms Division operations, ensuring exceptional guest satisfaction, operational efficiency, and strong financial performance, while embodying Banyan Tree Veya’s philosophy of wellbeing, sustainability, and refined luxury at Vineyard property.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify key operational areas, challenges, and opportunities, acting decisively and proactively.
- Define clear departmental objectives and ensure their effective and timely execution.
- Develop strategic and actionable plans to enhance service standards, operational processes, and guest experience.
- Continuously monitor departmental performance, addressing deviations with agility and sound judgment.
- Ensure flawless execution of luxury service standards across all guest touchpoints.
- Maintain impeccable standards in rooms, public areas, and overall presentation of the resort.
- Oversee budgeting, financial performance, cost control, and productivity.
- Foster a culture of excellence, detail, anticipation, and personalized service.
- Collaborate closely with all departments to ensure seamless and integrated guest experiences.
- Handle VIP guests, service recovery, and sensitive situations with discretion and sophistication.
- Uphold and enhance the resort’s reputation among guests, ownership, and internal teams.
- Drive innovation aligned with the brand’s pillars of wellness, sustainability, and authentic experiences.
Critical Skills & Qualifications
- Exceptional attention to detail, speed, and accuracy with strong organizational skills.
- Clear thinker, composed under pressure, with excellent problem-solving judgment.
- Deep understanding of luxury guest expectations and personalized service delivery.
- High level of professionalism and strict confidentiality handling guest and hotel information.
- Minimum 10 years of hotel experience, with at least 5 years in an executive leadership role within Rooms Division.
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management or related field preferred.
- Strong leadership presence with the ability to inspire, develop, and retain high-performing teams.
Development Path
Given the strategic scope, operational complexity, and level of guest engagement, this role provides a strong foundation for progression into a Resort Manager position, contributing to broader leadership within the property.
