Position Objective
To lead and manage all security operations of the hotel, ensuring the safety and protection of guests, associates, and assets, while maintaining a discreet and welcoming environment aligned with luxury service standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain security policies, procedures, and protocols
- Oversee daily security operations, including surveillance, access control, and patrols
- Manage and lead the security team, including scheduling, training, and performance evaluations
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, safety standards, and emergency procedures
- Coordinate emergency response plans (fire, evacuation, medical incidents, natural disasters)
- Monitor and analyze security risks, implementing preventive measures
- Supervise CCTV systems and other security technologies
- Conduct investigations related to incidents, losses, or breaches
- Prepare detailed reports and maintain accurate records of all security activities
- Liaise with local authorities, law enforcement, and emergency services
- Promote a culture of safety awareness across all hotel departments
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Security Management, Criminal Justice, Hospitality, or related field
- Certifications in security, safety, or risk management (preferred)
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations, emergency response, and risk assessment
- Leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication and decision-making abilities
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and discretion
- Ability to remain calm under pressure
- Flexibility to work varied schedules, including nights and weekends
Experience
- 4–6 years of experience in security operations
- Minimum 2–3 years in a supervisory or managerial role
- Experience in hotels, resorts, or luxury environments (preferred)
- Experience handling emergency situations and crisis management
- Familiarity with security systems (CCTV, access control, alarms)
- First Aids expertise
