Essential Duties and Responsibilities
1. Account Management of assigned portfolio/segment both in Malaysia and all source markets as assigned by DOS/ADOS.

2. Planning, implementing and monitoring of sales call plans (20 sales call per week), maintaining call notes, ensuring follow-up and account management.

3. Responsible in updating the DOS – Corporate & ADOSM and within the hotels on the business opportunities, market trends and competitor activities, etc.

4. Issuing in Local Corporate and RFP contracts of the key accounts and source markets according to the Hotel’s revenue plan. All contracts must be signed by DOSM.

5. Key contact for the hotel site inspections. Conduct site inspections and entertainment as necessary.

6. Regular communication with the BTHR Regional Sales Offices in key source markets where key accounts are managed from.

7. Ensure all contracts are negotiated & issued according to the BTHR standards.

8. Produce accurate and relevant reports as directed by the DOS & ADOS.

9. Provide regular market intelligence and maintain update data for such intelligence.

10. Represents the hotel at the selected sales visits to key source markets, agreed and approved by DOS DOSM & GM.

11. Be proactive in sourcing information on new emerging projects to target in-flow of transient or long or semi-long stays.

12. Cross sell other BTHR Hotels wherever possible.

13. Direct responsibility for managing key Corporate accounts and accounts by key accounts and industry basis. These accounts will be specified to you by DOS – Corporate, ADOSM & DOSM.

14. Assisting the DOS – Corporate in developing a sales plan which accurately interprets the objectives of the business and uses this communicate with and to focus the team and own efforts.

15. Ensuring the all details accounts are kept up to date and accurate within DELPHI and keep a live corporate account tracker.

16. Monthly report to DOS – Corporate.

17. Quarterly account review meetings with the DOS – Corporate, ADOSM & DOSM.

18. Chinese language proficiency will be an advantage.
